I automated my job.
Now it's yours for a dollar.

I'm John Mobley. I've been helping people build systems since 2000, when I was 16. Most of that work came down to the same chores, over and over: keep the jobs running, catch what broke, don't let a bad change go live, don't let the disk fill up, and tell the right person only what actually needs them.

So I automated it. Mobley is the operator that runs my own companies every day, on one Mac, while I work on other things.

A lot of companies charge every month for tools that do part of this. Here it is for one dollar. Pay once and it's yours: one file on your own machine, no account, no subscription, nothing leaving your computer.

Try it first

One payment through VendyAI's secure checkout. You get a key and a one-line install for macOS (launchd) or Linux (systemd); it needs python3 3.9+. One file, standard library only, so you can read every line before you run it.

What it does

Six jobs a person shouldn't have to do.

Runs your jobs on time

Backups, reports, syncs: mobley add backup --every 1h -- ./backup.sh, then mobley sync. Each run is locked, logged and timed out if it sticks.

Restarts what stalls

A watchdog every 10 minutes reruns any job that failed or is overdue, retries with backoff, and flags it after two failures in a row.

Ships only if not worse

mobley ship --live … --preview … -- deploy compares the new version with live first and holds it if scripts, images, the title, the heading, text or links went missing.

Keeps the disk from filling

Register folders of throwaway output; when free space drops under your floor, Mobley sweeps old files there, and only there.

Checks your sites

mobley check example.com: status, https, speed, title, description, heading, HSTS, broken links, mixed content, scored out of 100.

One list of what needs you

Repeat failures, held ships, a low disk and anything you add yourself, tagged money, irreversible or new scope. Every morning at 08:00.

Two of Mobley's checks, running live.

Would this change make the page worse?

The guard Mobley runs before every ship. Give it the live page and the new version.

The demo pair is a bakery's page and a broken redesign of it.

How healthy is a site?

The nightly check Mobley runs on every site you own.

Enter any public site.

Compared honestly

Mobley and n8n.

n8n is the self-hosted automation leader. It is the better tool for wiring hundreds of apps together in a visual editor. Mobley is for keeping one machine and its sites working without you watching.
